SCUBA DIVING WITH WORLD DIVING

World Diving Lembongan: Nusa Lembongan, Penida and Ceningan’s first PADI Five Star Dive Center

We love exploring our three islands of Nusa Lembongan, Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida, diving some of the very best dive sites around Bali. We have more than 20 different dive sites to which we take guests and we are still finding new spots where we see some incredible creatures. With our professional and highly valued local and international staff, we offer first class diving in spectacular and exciting environments

HOW WE OPERATE

All fun dives are guided dives with a maximum ratio of four guests to one divemaster.

All courses are taught precisely to the guidelines set by PADI. We do not cut corners and we do not believe in rushing people. Our students dictate the pace and we teach in small groups. Training takes place in our purpose built pool with a maximum ratio of four students to one instructor.

Most of the Nusa Penida’s dive sites are drift dives but the advantage that we have being based on Lembongan is that we can dive around the high tide which minimizes any current. As a result we usually have calm water in which to enjoy the spectacular coral and fish. Read more about the sites on the Dive Sites page.

No matter how many dives we have done here, we are constantly surprised by the new creatures that we discover. Sharing these moments with our guests is the highlight of our jobs.

TRADITIONAL BOATS AND HI-TECH EQUIPMENT!

World Diving combines the best of both worlds!

From regulators to dive computers, we have a complete range of rental equipment available for our guests. We ensure that the dive equipment is maintained and inspected on a regular rolling programme by our trained staff.

We have three boats to take our guests out to the reefs. Big Boat is a traditionally built “Jukung” with sundeck, beanbags and bathroom onboard. Seventeen metres of craft built dive boat with ample space for 12 divers, 4 divemasters and two boat captains. Many of our divers come back year after year just to dive from this boat. It’s a wonderful way to dive and explore the islands in style and comfort.

Our other boats are fiberglass speed boats with space for 4 divers, a divemaster and a boat captain.

All of our boats come equipped with life jackets, fire extinguishers, communications plus a first aid kit with oxygen.

WHERE WE ARE IN LEMBONGAN

Nusa Lembongan is a small island 15 kilometres east of Sanur, which is on the south east coast of Bali. World Diving Lembongan is situated half way along the main beach front of Jungutbatu Village. Close to Nusa Lembongan are the islands of Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan. Many of our guests comment that these islands must be similar to how Bali used to be before major tourism took off. Around all three islands are great sites for diving and on the islands one can frequently witness colourful ceremonies and the simplicity of real island life. The local people are friendly and are quick to greet you with a smile!
