Pondok Baruna
Baruna is the Balinese God of the Sea and the Pondok Baruna Guesthouse sits at its feet. All the rooms are less than 5 m from the beach with individual verandas facing west towards the reef and those famous Indonesian sunsets.
All rooms are doubles or twins furnished with classic bamboo furniture and traditional Balinese carvings. The bathrooms, however, are en suite, western style.
Baruna's restaurant serves a fantastic selection of home cooked traditional Balinese and Javanese dishes, with daily specials dreamed up by our creative resident chef.
Staying at Pondok Baruna offers you the best of both worlds - the chance to get the adrenaline pumping with some thrilling scuba diving and the serene island setting in which to chill out and unwind.
There is now a swimming pool at Baruna in our new "Garden complex!" It is a purpose built dive pool and is available to all the guests at Baruna.
Current room prices are Rp 130,000 for a Double room and Rp 95,000 for a Twin room per room per night.
We are currently building six garden rooms which we hope to complete early next year. These will offer guests air conditioning and hot water as well as direct access to the pool.
A discount of 10% off of these prices is offered for guests staying one week or more.
