Pondok Baruna
Baruna is the Balinese God of the Sea and the Pondok Baruna Guesthouse sits at its feet. All the sea front rooms are less than 5 m from the beach with individual verandas facing west towards the reef and those famous Indonesian sunsets.
In the last two months there has been a major change to the layout of Pondok Baruna. We have opened a new restaurant on the main street, Pondok Baruna Warung, with an up-graded menu and totally new look. We have closed down the sea front twin rooms and have re-vamped the sea front double rooms with new bedroom furniture and room layout.
Baruna's new restaurant serves a fantastic selection of home cooked traditional Balinese and Javanese dishes, with daily specials dreamed up by our creative resident chef.
Staying at Pondok Baruna offers you the best of both worlds - the chance to get the adrenalin pumping with some thrilling scuba diving and the serene island setting in which to chill out and unwind.
Current room prices are Rp 255,000 for a Sea Front Double room per night. This includes breakfast.
Garden Rooms
Air-conditioned rooms and a pool.
All guests at Pondok Baruna now have access to a pool in our Garden area, 20 metres behind the main guest house.
The Garden Rooms all have hot water and air-conditioning. Each room has a bale where guests can sit out and relax and also direct access to the pool. These rooms are Rp.460,000. This price includes a set breakfast for two, which is served in the new snack bar by the pool.
