The PADI Rescue Diver Course is often cited as being the most rewarding of all PADI courses. You'll develop the skills to become proactive in preventing and managing dive emergencies. The course includes self-rescue and diver stress management techniques, search and recovery skills, accident management and emergency planning, and both underwater and surface rescue skills. You'll complete your course by taking part in a full scale rescue scenario - which you'll use your new skills to manage.

The PADI Rescue Diver course is also your stepping stone to becoming a PADI Divemaster!

Rescue Diver Theory

During your pool sessions you'll practice and perfect the rescue skills that you'll use during your open water dives and finalrecovery and rescue scenario.

In open water you'll map a dive site, carry out search and recovery techniques, rig and lift a negatively buoyant object and manage a simulated scenario.

Take the PADI Rescue Diver Course in Nusa Lembongan

The PADI Rescue Diver Certification is one of the most rewarding PADI courses. You'll learn how to effectively avoid emergency situations as well as how to deal with them calmly and efficiently, should they occur. You'll not only learn how to rescue other - both on the surface and underwater, but you'll also learn self-rescue techniques too.

 

The course takes place over four days and includes theory, pool sessions and open water dives. During your course you will also create an emergency action plan, practice search and recovery techniques, complete a dive site mapping project, and manage a simulated rescue scenario - guaranteed to get your adrenaline pumping! 

 

(Please note that if you study with PADI eLearning before arriving on the island, your program will be just three days with no classroom studying). 

Prerequisites:

  • PADI Advanced Open Water certification is required.

  • A current and recognized First Aid and CPR Certification (dated within the last 24 months). If you do not have a First Aid and CPR certification, take the one day Emergency Response Course with us during your stay.

  • Participants need to be a minimum of 12 years of age. 

  • Participants need to have a reasonable level of fitness.

  • Participants are required to complete a PADI Medical Questionnaire prior to any inwater activities.
