How We Dive
Exceptional Dive Sites and Still Exploring!
We plan our daily fun diving trips in Nusa Lembongan around the tides, departing on a rising tide and scheduling the second dive at high tide. This allows us to avoid strong currents and consistently offer some of the best diving conditions in the Nusa Islands. On select days each month, when tides are ideal, we also offer the option of a third dive—perfect for those looking to maximise their Bali diving experience.
All dives are fully guided, with a maximum ratio of four guests to one professional divemaster, ensuring a safe, personalised, and premium experience. While many of the top dive sites around Nusa Penida are known for drift diving, our location allows us to carefully time dives to minimise currents—resulting in calmer conditions, excellent visibility, and more time to fully enjoy each dive.
Beneath the surface, you’ll discover vibrant coral reefs populated by a wide variety of tropical fish and marine life. Visibility typically ranges from 15 to 30 metres, with dive site depths between 5 and 40+ metres, making this an ideal destination for divers of all experience levels. From graceful manta rays to the elusive Mola Mola (sunfish), every dive offers something unique. Water temperatures can drop to the low 20s between July and October—prime season for mola encounters and one of the highlights of diving in this region.
Departure times vary daily based on tides, so we recommend contacting us via WhatsApp or visiting the shop on arrival to plan your dives. A typical two-tank dive trip lasts around five hours, depending on the sites and conditions.
Between dives, enjoy a freshly prepared Indonesian nasi campur lunch, along with tea, coffee, drinking water, fresh fruit, and a light dessert. Relax on the sundeck, take in the ocean views, and unwind between dives. Our crew handles all equipment carrying and rinsing, while guests set up their own gear on the boat—just bring your towel and sun protection and enjoy a seamless Nusa Lembongan diving experience.
Our Fleet
Our Famous Big Boat & Modern Speedboats
We have three boats to take our guests out to the reefs. Big Boat is a traditionally built “Jukung” with sundeck, beanbags, and the only boat on the islands with a bathroom onboard.
A seventeen-metre custom-built dive boat with ample space for 12 divers, 4 divemasters and 2 boat captains. Many of our divers come back year after year just to dive from this boat. It’s a wonderful way to dive and explore the islands in style and comfort.
Our other boats are fiberglass speed boats, each with two Yamaha 40hp engines. Our speedboats have space for 4 divers, a divemaster and a boat captain.
All of our boats come equipped with life jackets, fire extinguishers, communications, spare gear, plus a first aid kit with emergency oxygen.
Our Dive Gear
High Quality & Well Maintained Equipment
From regulators to dive computers, we have a complete range of rental equipment available for our guests. We ensure that the dive equipment is maintained and inspected on a regular rolling programme by our trained staff and technicians.
We use aluminium 12 litre tanks with DIN fittings as standard - with inserts for International/yoke regulators. Whatever your regulator configuration, we can accommodate you.
We also have larger 15 litre tanks and we have Nitrox available for Nitrox certified divers (available with surcharges).
For divers wishing to purchase items of gear during their stay, please contact us and we can advise you on reputable equipment suppliers on Bali, including stockists of Mares, Aqualung, ScubaPro, and Suunto dive computers.

LEMBONGAN BAY
Required Level: Beginner
Depth: 12 meters
Location: Lembongan Island
Travel to Dive site: 3 Minutes
This house reef is perfect for night dives, beginner divers, and keen photographers. The sandy bottom is scattered with coral bommies, home to frogfish, moray eels, lobsters, schools of damselfish, and many other small reef species.
BLUE CORNER
Required Level : Advanced
Depth : 30+ meters
Location : North-West Lembongan Island
Travel to Dive site : 10 Minutes
Located on the northwest of Nusa Lembongan, this is one of the area’s most exhilarating dive sites. Known for strong currents, it attracts pelagic species including mola mola and schools of Marble rays, ideal for experienced drift divers.
MANGROVE
Required Level: Beginner
Depth: 12 meters
Location: Lembongan Island

Set beside the mangrove forest in the northeast of Nusa Lembongan, this site features a gently sloping reef. Often compared to an underwater aquarium, it offers an impressive variety of colourful reef fish.
CENINGAN WALL
Required Level : Advanced
Depth : 40+ meters
Location : East Ceningan Island

On the east coast of Nusa Ceningan, this striking wall runs along limestone cliffs. Nutrient-rich currents from mangroves and deep-water upwellings support vibrant coral, dropping vertically beyond recreational depth limits.
TOYAPAKEH

Location : West Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 25 Minutes
Positioned at the northern end of the channel between Nusa Penida and Nusa Ceningan, this diverse site features a steep southern wall, large coral bommies, and a terraced reef—making it one of the team’s favourite dives.
GAMAT BAY
Required Level : Open Water
Depth : 5 – 30+ meters
Location : West Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 30 Minutes
A great location for spotting invertebrates within a sheltered bay. When conditions are calm, divers can explore 10–20 meters, searching for macro life among table corals, bommies, and slopes covered in sponges and whip corals.
CRYSTAL BAY

Depth : 5 – 40+ meters
Location : West Coast of Nusa Penida

One of Bali’s most popular dive sites for Mola mola sightings, located on the southwest of Nusa Penida. A sheltered inner bay protects a colourful reef that slopes down to a white sandy bottom, offering consistent and enjoyable diving conditions.
MANTA BAY

Depth : 10 meters
Location : West Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 35 Minutes
Manta rays are frequently seen feeding on plankton near the rocky shoreline. Usually calm, though surge can occur. While coral is less dense, crevices and overhangs shelter shrimps, crabs, and octopuses.
MANTA POINT

Depth : 10-30+ meters
Location : South Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 60 Minutes
Located on the southwest coast of Nusa Penida, this world-famous manta cleaning station offers unforgettable encounters. Manta rays are often seen in groups, circling slowly in shallow, nutrient-rich waters as they are cleaned.
Sekola Desa - SD
Required Level : Open Water
Depth : 5 – 40+ meters
Location : North Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 35 Minutes
Currents can be strong and unpredictable, creating exciting drift dives past schooling fish. Watch the blue for giant trevallies, whitetip reef sharks, and barracuda. Macro life is also abundant, with orangutan crabs often spotted.
Pura PED
Required Level : Open Water
Depth : 5 – 40+ meters
Location : North Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 40 Minutes
A steeper slope than nearby sites with similar coral formations. Large sponges and whip corals signal frequent currents. Expect schooling fish, unicornfish, snappers, ribbon eels, triggerfish, anthias, and occasional turtles.
SENTAL
Required Level : Open Water
Depth : 5 – 40+ meters
Location : North Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 45 Minutes
Featuring a steeper slope with large coral bommies, this site offers schooling fish, unicornfish, snappers, and more. Great for macro life, with orangutan crabs hiding in anemones, plus chances to spot mola mola and even whale sharks.
Buyuk / PMG
Required Level : Open Water
Depth : 5 – 40+ meters
Location : North East Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 45 Minutes
A great option for night dives, beginner divers, and photographers. The sandy seabed is dotted with coral bommies, attracting frogfish, moray eels, lobsters, damselfish, and a wide range of smaller reef species.
SAMPALAN
Required Level : Open Water
Depth : 5 – 40+ meters
Location : North Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 55 Minutes
Located on the north side of Nusa Penida, this site features varied underwater structures and marine life similar to nearby reefs. Thermoclines can occur at depth, with soft coral slopes attracting fish in nutrient-rich currents.
KARANG SARI
Required Level : Open Water
Depth : 5 – 40+ meters
Location : North East Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 60 Minutes
Found on the northeast of Nusa Penida, this site offers healthy coral and a diverse ecosystem. Sloping reefs are covered in soft coral and reef fish, with good chances of spotting sharks.
MALIBU
Required Level : Open Water
Depth : 5 – 40+ meters
Location : East Coast of Nusa Penida
Travel to Dive site : 65 Minutes
On the east side of Nusa Penida, this site features healthy coral and varied underwater terrain. Thermoclines are common at depth, while soft coral slopes attract reef fish feeding in rich, moving water.
